Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows Trailer Review

Now it’s time to be honest…

I HATED the first movie. Home sick from work some time last year, I watched it and was utterly disappointed by it’s horrible direction  and comedy. I wasn’t a big fan of the original movies, TV shows or comics, but still it was a movie with potential, despite director Michael Bay being attached as an  executive producer. And I did not even want to see this trailer. I just said I hated it and avoided it until I saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the second time. I had no chance to escape. But wait a minute… could it be, my hate for the original faded away. Were there moments where I rolled my eyes? Of course, but for the most part I actually found to be enjoying myself. It feels like fun, the music choice is perfect, the action isn’t too over the top and the comedy isn’t horrendous.

For hardcore fans of the turtles TV shows, they will probably love the movie and it’s trailer, but as for me, it has jumped up my most anticipated movies list from the bottom to about the middle. NOW anyone can and I mean anyone, can make a movie seem good. The Phantom Menace did it. So that being said, I am hesitantly excited, but have gone leaps and bounds from where I thought this movie was going to be. What do you think? Comment below.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS is released on June 3, 2016 nationwide in the US.
