The Amazing Spider-Man was a welcome surprise for many as he swung onto the screens for a reboot starring the comedic Andrew Garfield. Although not as good as the original Toby McGuire/Sam Rami pictures, it still provided an entertaining two hours that has prompted three sequels already. Sony has spared no expense, with three villains confirmed for the sequel with more expected to make an appearance.

Bad Words starring Jason Bateman, is a comedy about a 40 year old spelling bee contestant is surprisingly hilarious. After Identity Thief and Horrible Bosses we saw Bateman in a new light with R-rated comedies, but now he is escalated to an ultimate level of profanity, which works for someone who hasn’t been considered at the height of his game, and it leaves hope for Bateman’s future.

The next Wachowski project, Jupiter Ascending, caught my eye last year with an intriguing plot and a very interesting cast and here is the first trailer. The effects are outstanding like most Wachowski films, but after last year’s  Cloud Atlas, we won’t know what to expect.

The new Godzilla reboot comes just 10 years after the last try to start a franchise, but this trailer gives the movie major possibilities.  On itself the movie has grand special effects and an even darker tone then the previous Godzilla films. Without any dialogue you can get the feel at what is at stake and what freezes you to the core is that the people living in the Godzilla esque area are gonna have a hard time of getting better.

The 50th airing a few weeks back was considered to be one of the great episodes of Who, but we may have a contender with Smith’s(The Eleventh Doctor’s) swan song in the upcoming Christmas Special which is supposed to be the most emotional yet.

I was not expecting this one. After the release of the Godzilla trailer and on Friday, the Interstellar trailer, Edge of Tomorrow has released the first trailer for the summer blockbuster. Although it is a risk, like Tom Cruise’s last project, it has potential to succeed.
